On a recent cold morning we had the (slightly nerve racking) pleasure of sharing our work with That’s Solent TV. Their lovely crew had heard about our Partnership through social media and got in contact wanting to know more. We met them at Hayling Island and were able to see black-tailed godwits, redshanks, curlews, and grey plover who were happily feeding in the area. Once the camera was rolling, Karima, our Lead Ranger, gave an insight into the importance of being bird aware and tips on how to enjoy the coastline without disturbing the internationally important species that spend the winter months with us. This was followed by an interview with Simon, our Project Board Chair, who explained more about the developer contributions which fund our work. After that it was an anxious wait for Karima and Simon until it was broadcast. Now you can see the finished piece for yourself!
