Great Coastal Birdwatch Pop-up with the National Trust at East Head
Come and meet the Bird Aware Solent team alongside the National Trust at East Head. Learn about the amazing migratory birds that make the Solent their home over the autumn and winter, and pick up a form to take part in this year’s Great Coastal Birdwatch.
We’ll be set up near the entrance gate onto East Head. Look out for our pop-up table where you can:
- Find out about the migratory birds in the Solent and the importance of giving them plenty of space to feed and rest.
- Grab yourself a free coastal bird watching form and let us know what birds you spot within a one-hour period.
- Find out how to have fun, engaging and wildlife-aware dog walks.
- Pick up free training guides to help with essential skills like lead walking and recall.
- Find out the sites the local National Trust team manage and their importance to wildlife.
