The Great Coastal Birdwatch at Lepe Country Park

Meet the rangers at Lepe Country Park, discover the birds migrating to our coastline for the winter and enjoy a talk about the work of Bird Aware Solent. It’s also an opportunity take part in this year’s Great Coastal Birdwatch.

Our rangers will be in the Lookout Cafe holding a pop-up event with telescopes and binoculars provided so you can get up close and learn more about the wonderful winter migrant birds in the comfort of the cafe. Enjoy a short talk about the birds and the Great Coastal Birdwatch and spent some time with a ranger guide in the hide overlooking the lagoon. Timings as follows:

10.00-12:30 – Pop-up in the Lookout and Guide in the Hide

13:30 – 14:00 – Bird Aware Solent Talk (located in the classroom)

14:00 – 15:00 – Pop-up in the Lookout and Guide in the Hide
