Drawing birds at Lepe Country Park

Fancy spending the morning having a cuppa and drawing some birds? Ranger Eloise will be setting up some art equipment in the Lookout Café, at Lepe Country Park, for a bit of observational bird sketching – come along and take part too! You don’t have to be an expert at all, it’s all part of a fun, social session to get chatting about the incredible bird life along the Solent coastline.

Ranger Eloise is the current communications officer for Bird Aware Solent, making all sort of content for our website and social media, and will be on hand to answer all your bird and artistic questions. We will also have a range of leaflets and spotting guides to take away, so you can learn more about the migratory birds that spend the winter months here.

This morning session will include a range of equipment to draw with, but please do bring along your own equipment too if you fancy – we love to see the wide range of mediums used to paint birds along the shore.

No booking required, we hope to see you there.
