Learning to Digiscope – Bunny Meadows Guided Walk

*Cancelled due to weather*

Come and join the rangers on a walk to discover the world of digiscoping, and how you can take some great photos with nothing more than a phone and telescope.

Telescopes will be provided to use throughout the walk, but do bring your own if you have one. All you need is a trusty mobile phone.

This event is aimed at those who are new to, or less-experienced at bird watching and photography.

And don’t forget to submit your best shots into our photography competition (closing date 31 March).

Families and children are always welcome (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult). Bring binoculars if you have them but don’t worry if you don’t, you can enjoy views of the birds through the ranger’s telescopes.

This walk is free to attend but booking is required as numbers are limited so please reserve your place by emailing.

Event Information

Duration: The walk will last up to 1.5 hours at a leisurely pace with regular watching stops.

Accessibility: This is an outdoor event in a public space. Some of the ground is uneven in places and can be muddy. There can also be some standing water (puddles) along the route and damp underfoot, therefore sensible footwear is essential.

Dogs: We welcome well behaved dogs on our walks but they must be kept on a short lead at all times.

Clothing: Please wear sturdy/sensible shoes and dress appropriately for the weather (we advise warm layers and a waterproof coat).

Booking

To book your free place, please email Ranger Eloise at Eloise.Mott@hants.gov.uk

Our outdoor walks and activities are weather dependant. We aim to let you know by email in good time if a walk is cancelled due to bad weather. Please check your emails before leaving home.
