Coastal creativity for kids at Dell Quay
A Bird Aware Art Fest event
Join Ranger Alice and Ranger Toni this February half term to learn about the Solent’s wonderful winter birdlife and make your own coastal bird using materials of your choice. You could use leaves to make a collage or paints to paint a picture – simply choose your materials and get creative!

This event is for children aged from 4 – 11. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult and supervised at all times.
Booking details: This event is free, but booking is required as places are limited. Please reserve your place by emailing Ranger Alice at: alice.ashcroft-dalley@hants.gov.uk.
Directions and meeting point: Leave the A27 at the Stockbridge Roundabout, taking the A286 towards the Witterings. After about 2 miles take a right hand turn to Dell Quay. The Education Centre and classroom is located on the left-hand side of the quay at the far end. We will meet outside the classroom.
Parking: Park on the roadside adjacent to the pub or along the road as there is no parking on the quay. Please do not park in the pub carpark.
Accessibility: Gravel and some uneven ground.
Dogs: Unfortunately, dogs can’t join us for this event.
Clothing: Please ensure that children have sturdy/sensible shoes and dress appropriately for the weather (we advise warm layers and a waterproof coat!)
We aim to let you know by email in good time if the event is cancelled for any reason, but please check your emails before leaving home.
