Hook with Warsash Guided Birdwatching Walk
Join our friendly rangers to see what wildlife we can spot around Hook with Warsash Nature Reserve. This is a short and gentle walk with plenty of time to stop and enjoy the wonderful birds that can be seen around our coast over the winter. Our rangers will be on hand to guide and show you the birds spotted along the way.
The walk is aimed at those who are new to, or less-experienced at bird watching. Families and children are always welcome (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult). Bring binoculars if you have them but don’t worry if you don’t, you can enjoy views of the birds through the ranger’s telescopes. Some of the species we might see include dark-bellied brent geese, wigeon, dunlin, oystercatcher, black-tailed godwit, redshank, turnstone and greenshank.
All of our walks are free to attend, but booking is required as places are limited.
