A beginner’s guide to birds by the coast – large wading birds (free online talk)

Join us for our monthly virtual birdwatching trip around the Solent Coast. This month we are focusing on four of our larger wading birds – curlew, black-tailed godwit, oystercatcher and lapwing.

This is a free online talk aimed at beginner birdwatchers.

  • Learn about some of the bird species who call our coast their winter home
  • Find out about some of the incredible migrations birds make to get here
  • Improve your bird identification skills with tips and tricks
  • Become a ‘bird aware birdwatcher’ by learning about our coastal code and why it’s important for protecting wildlife

Joining a Zoom meeting

You don’t need a Zoom account if you’re joining a meeting as a participant – you only need one if you want to create your own meetings.
