Bembridge Guided Birdwatching Walk

Join our rangers on a walk around Bembridge Harbour and see what wildlife you can see. This is a short and gentle walk with plenty of time to stop and enjoy the wonderful birds that can be seen around our coast over the winter. Our rangers will be on hand to guide and show you the birds spotted along the way.

The walk is aimed at those who are new to, or less-experienced at bird watching. Families and children are always welcome (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult). Bring binoculars if you have them but don’t worry if you don’t, you can enjoy views of the birds through the ranger’s telescopes.

Some of the species we may spot include black tailed godwit, curlew, redshank, oystercatcher and teal.

Duration: The walk is around 1½ miles long in total and will last up to 2 hours at a leisurely pace with regular watching stops.
