Beginner’s birdwatching session at Hamble Point

Join a ranger for a relaxed and informal beginner birdwatcher session at Hamble Point. On a falling tide we hope to see a myriad of waders, ducks and geese getting their fill of seashore food. Learn about some of the magnificent migrations birds take to reach the area and find out some fascinating facts.

Children are welcome however the session will be aimed at adults. Bring binoculars if you have them but don’t worry if you don’t, you can enjoy views of the birds through the ranger’s birding telescope.

The session is free but booking is required. The event will be limited to 20 people maximum, we will operate on a first come first serve basis.

Meeting place: Shoreside Car Park at the end of School Lane in Hamble, SO31 4NB. Look out for our friendly Rangers in their blue uniform. Parking is free.
