A beginner’s guide to birds by the coast – breeding ringed plovers (RSPB guest)

Join us for our monthly virtual birdwatching trip around the Solent Coast.

This month we are excited to be joined by Kate Jackman from the RSPB who will give us a talk focusing on breeding Ringed plovers along the Solent coast, along with some other beach nesting birds. We will explore the issues this BOCC red listed species face over the breeding season before looking at the various ways the RSPB and partners are working to help them as part of the EU LIFE on the Edge project.

This is a free online talk aimed at beginner birdwatchers.

We will be using Zoom for this talk.
