Beginner’s birdwatching walk at Portchester
Join a ranger for a relaxed and informal beginner birdwatcher walk along Portsmouth Harbour. We hope to see a myriad of waders, ducks and geese. Learn about some of the magnificent migrations birds take to reach the harbour and find out some fascinating facts.
Children are welcome however the walk will be aimed at adults. Bring binoculars if you have them but don’t worry if you don’t, you can enjoy views of the birds through the ranger’s birding telescope.
The walk is free but booking is required. The event will be limited to 20 people maximum, we will operate on a first come first serve basis.
