Win £40 of gift vouchers
If you’re inspired to take photographs along the coast during this year’s Great Solent Birdwatch, then enter your two best images for a chance to win one of two £40 gift vouchers.
Age categories
There are two categories – junior, for anyone under 18, and adults – with a prize for the winner in each category.
Photo subjects
We always welcome photos of our overwintering coastal birds – dark-bellied brent geese and wigeon ducks for example – but we’d be delighted to see any photos of birds you’ve seen in the Bird Aware Solent area during the Great Solent Birdwatch (23-31 October), or views of our beautiful coastline.
How to enter
Email up to two photos to info@birdaware.org before midnight on Sunday 14 November 2021 and let us know which category you’re entering (junior or adult) as well as when and where you took the photograph. The winner will be chosen by the Bird Aware Solent ranger team with the winner announced on social media by mid November.
Follow the Coastal Code
Make sure you follow the Coastal Code when you’re taking photographs: look out for birds, move further away if they become alert, keep dogs alongside you and follow requests on signs.
