The baseline research for our strategy was undertaken during 2009-13. Subsequent research has helped us decide on the best ways to reduce bird disturbance by dogs. The Alver Valley study looked at whether a country park there could provide recreational opportunities which would be an alternative to visiting the coast.
The Partnership has used these research studies to inform its decision-making, but does not necessarily endorse the whole content of each research document.
Other surveys are being done as part of our monitoring programme.
