Visit the Bird Aware Pop-up on Chalkwell Esplanade

To celebrate the February half term, Bird Aware Essex’s team of Coastal Rangers will be popping up along the Essex coast during Half Term offering games and resources to get people talking about the birds!

Join the Rangers on Chalkwell Esplanade for a special day of Brent Goose celebration and find out all about our amazing coastal birds and grab yourself one of our fantastic Activity Packs!

The rangers will be onsite from 2pm – 4pm, with bird watching equipment and ID guides and are looking forward to showing off the amazing bird population that our coastline has to offer. They also have activity packs for children to keep them busy during their break. The team can provide advice on how to be more bird aware and reduce bird disturbance while you are enjoying the coast.
