Meeting Location: Lock Opposite Old Ship Pub

Join us for a free wildlife walk from Heybridge Basin to Mill Beach. Our team of coastal rangers will guide you from the Basin lock along the sea wall to Mill Beach and back. Please note that this walk will not be suitable for people that cannot walk long distances. There are no public toilets anywhere on the way but there are pubs and cafes available.

We will meet by lock opposite the Old Ship pub at 10:00 AM and will walk for approximately 2 hours. Please bring suitable footwear, as the paths can get muddy and slippery after wet weather. Dogs are very welcome and MUST be kept on leads for the entire duration of the walk.

• Paid parking at Daisy Meadows car park

How to Prepare for Your Day:

• Book Your Tickets! 
• Binoculars if you’d like to do some bird watching
• Suitable footwear – Waterproof highly recommended
• Weather appropriate clothing- it gets windy on the sea wall!
• Dogs MUST be kept on leads
• Poo Bags
